संतश्री आशारामजी बापू आश्रम, हरिद्वार में आज "जन्माष्टमी" का पावन पर्व मनाया गया। आश्रम में, भक्तों ने जप और वीडियो सत्संग का लाभ लिया। इस अवसर पर बच्चों ने गोपी रूप में, नृत्य कार्यक्रम भी प्रस्तुत किया।

The word "GURU" is derived from 2 words- "GU" and "RU." The Sanskrit root "GU" means darkness or ignorance and "RU" denotes the remover of darkness. Therefore, a Guru is one who removes the darkness of our ignorance. But how to remove or dispel darkness?
You cannot kick the darkness out of a place because darkness is not an existence by itself. Darkness is just absence of light. A true Guru, who has realised his identity with the Omnipresent Spirit, can lead the seeker on his inward journey towards perfection. According to Yoganand Paramhansji- "Only a master, one who knows GOD may rightly teach others about HIM." He, who faithfully follows a true Guru becomes like him.
Let's celebrate Guru Purnima wholeheartedly.
